He realized he has gone too heavy & have added tones of pounds :)
He realized he had left behind many of his dreams, Extended working hours, ordinary lifestyle with other important or not too important things to be blamed for.
He realizes that all the 'thought off, worked upon passion' has gone waste & his dreams haven't become anything but are merely dying on their own.
What he has done all the while is, earned a lot of money & spent a lot of what he had earned.
He has become a part of that mad race, had ended in that vicious circle of life.
Gains all this while have been his lovely wife & the adorable kid. And now he is looking up to them to rekindle that fire, that passion which made him thrive & attain what he had always looked up for. He has to be back to his best, to be what he had always aspired.
As Steven Adler said, 'Nothing is cooler and more attractive than a big comeback, and that'll be me'.
